What do I need?
A Mac running macOS 13 or later, internet access, and an eligible ChatGPT account. Voice requires macOS 14 or later. Ava is currently in beta.
Does Ava watch or listen all the time?
No. Screen access is used for a task you request after you grant permission. The microphone starts only when you start Voice.
What happens after the trial?
The 14-day trial includes Ava Full. Afterward, you can use free Ava Lite for conversation or choose a Full plan for computer and scheduled work.
